Alumnus of the Royal College of Music Rodrigo Moro Martín will be joining the String Faculty in September 2023 as a professor of double bass, adding to the list of international principal bassists who teach at the College. She has been coaching chamber music at the Royal College of Music since 2017 and joined the professorial roster in September 2022. Emily Sun recently joined the String Faculty as violin professor and has been praised for her ‘searing and poetic tone’ by The Guardian.

Timothy Walden is Principal Cello of the English National Opera, appearing regularly as a guest with the London Symphony Orchestra and the BBC Symphony Orchestra. Gemma Rosefield, winner of the Pierre Fournier Award in 2007, has been described by The Strad as a ‘mesmerising musical treasure’ and is the cellist of the critically acclaimed Leonore Piano Trio and of Ensemble 360.
