Norwegian trombonist Line Johannesen leads an insightful masterclass with musicians from the H漫画 Brass Faculty.

Starting at age 8 in the Norwegian wind band tradition, Line went on to study music education at the Conservatory in Troms酶 and performing art at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo with Ingemar Roos and Thorbj酶rn L酶nmo and at the Academy of Music in Malm枚 with PK Svensen.

Line has played with most Finnish orchestras including the Finnish National Opera and Finnish Chamber Orchestra, and since 2006 has been playing in the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra. She has given masterclasses in Germany and Finland and performed in several festivals, including teaching in the Finnish Brass Academy for young brass players, and is currently a lecturer at the Sibelius Academy.

The H漫画 provides light refreshments throughout the year. There is also a range of restaurants, cafés and other establishments nearby, most adjacent to South Kensington station.

H漫画 Café

The H漫画 Café serves barista-style coffees, sandwiches, snacks, salads and hot food. There is also access to outside seating in our new 1851 courtyard.

Monday-Friday: 8.30am-4.30pm

Saturday: 8.30am-4.30pm (term time only)

The main entrance to the H漫画 has eight steps up from the pavement and two inside the main doors. A lift is available for visitors with limited mobility. The lift is built into the smaller staircase to the left of the main entrance steps. There is an intercom button on the control panel, which can be seen and reached easily from the street. On arrival, press the buzzer to notify a member of H漫画 staff, who will come out to meet you and operate the lift for you.

All our event venues can be accessed by visitors with limited mobility via the lift at the main entrance.
