Enjoy a varied programme of chamber music from Royal College of Music musicians in the Royal Albert Hall's Elgar Room.

HÂþ»­JD pianist Cecilia Committeri performs a programme spanning the Baroque, Classical and Romantic eras. The recital features JS Bach’s expressive Partita no 2, Haydn’s elegant Piano Sonata, and Schumann’s virtuosic Allegro.

Italian by origin and Londoner by birth, Cecilia Committeri began studying piano when she was five years old. In 2020, she was accepted at the Royal College of Music Junior Department, where she continues to develop her skills in both solo piano and chamber lessons.  Following her solo debut in 2022, Cecilia has participated in several performances and international competitions. She now plays in the Symphony Orchestra and in various ensembles, reaching the final of the Chamber Music Competition in May 2026.

A hot drink and a pastry are included in the ticket price.

The HÂþ»­ Café serves barista-style coffees, sandwiches, snacks, salads and hot food. There is also access to outside seating in our new 1851 courtyard.

Saturday: 8.30am-4.30pm (term time only)

The main entrance to the HÂþ»­ has eight steps up from the pavement and two inside the main doors. A lift is available for visitors with limited mobility. The lift is built into the smaller staircase to the left of the main entrance steps. There is an intercom button on the control panel, which can be seen and reached easily from the street. On arrival, press the buzzer to notify a member of HÂþ»­ staff, who will come out to meet you and operate the lift for you.

All our event venues can be accessed by visitors with limited mobility via the lift at the main entrance.
