The Royal College of Music Museum produces scanned digital prints of detailed scale drawings of instruments from the HÂþ»­'s collection.

All drawings are reproduced on white paper.

HÂþ»­ 177: Clavichord by Johann Bohak, ?Vienna, 1794 

Compass FF-f3. Formerly owned by Joseph Haydn; altered c 1831. Fret-free.

The drawing shows conjectured missing parts (including bridge, tangents, tuning pins, upper part of wrest plank, lid and 'nameboard'), based on a clavichord by Ferdinand Hofmann, Vienna, c 1790, and clearly identified.
