Tours for prospective students

Students using the staircase in the atrium at the HÂþ»
We offer prospective students tours of our building and facilities. Tours are held on selected Wednesdays throughout term time and last approximately an hour.

Each tour is led by a Royal College of Music student or a member of the Registry Team. Our tour leaders are friendly and welcoming, and will happily answer any questions you have about life at the HÂþ» or how best to prepare for making an application.

Tours in the Autumn Term of 2024 will be held on the following dates:

  • 9 October 2024, 12pm
  • 23 October 2024, 12pm
  • 6 November 2024, 12pm
  • 20 November 2024, 12pm

More tour dates will be announced throughout the year.

All names must be provided at time of booking.

If you have any questions about our tours, please contact our Registry team.

Tour of HÂþ» campus

In the meantime, you can take a virtual tour of our campus and facilities with members of our Students’ Union team.

If you want to meet with one of our Heads of Faculty or arrange a consultation lesson with a specific professor, this will need to be arranged in advance via the relevant faculty administration team. Due to the busy schedules of our teaching staff, a meeting might not be possible on the same day.

There is normally a charge of £90 for a consultation lesson (but this may vary), which is conducted in the professor’s own time. This charge is payable directly to the professor.

Many of our events are free and tickets can be booked online, over the phone or in person at the Box Office. Seating is limited and booking in advance is advised to avoid disappointment.
