Before contacting us about admissions please ensure that you have read all the information available on this website and downloaded and read our information brochure (prospectus). 

The HÂþ»­ Junior Department programme runs on Saturdays during term-times only, and our students are enrolled via our entrance auditions process in March/April each year (see Applying to HÂþ»­JD | Royal College of Music) for further details).

Please note that the HÂþ»­JD is closed on Mondays and Sundays.

Note to musical advertisers

If you would like to send us information about your music course, concert, festival or musical instrument for sale in order for us to advertise to our students and teachers, we will be happy to hear from you by email (jd@rcm.ac.uk). Please do not send us printed advertising material – we are currently unable to distribute anything in hard copy. Please also be aware that we cannot recommend particular students to take part in events, nor can we guarantee to respond to urgent or last-minute advertising requests.
